Synopsis: Theory of Unified Fields and Elementary Particles

In a series of posts, we shall introduce a theory of unified fields and elementary particles that we developed in last few years; see articles [1-12] in Books and Articles. These posts shall cover the following topics:

  • Fundamental Principles of Interactions,
  • Unified Field Theory of Interactions,
  • Quantum Physics of Multi-Particle Systems, and
  • Theory of Elementary Particles

The entire theory of all four fundamental interactions of Nature is built upon a few fundamental physical principles in the following sense:

  1. The Lagrangian actions for all four interactions are uniquely dictated by the principle of general relativity, the Lorentz invariance, and the gauge invariance;
  2. Both the unified and the decoupled field equations of interactions are uniquely determined by principle of interaction dynamics (PID) and principle of representation invariance (PRI);
  3. The theory is consistent with existing experiments and observations. In particular, among other things, the theory
    1. induces a unified theory for dark matter and dark energy;
    2. establishes strong and weak interaction potentials and force formulas;
    3. leads to a new spontaneous symmetry breaking mechanism from first principles; and
    4. provides an explanation of both quark confinement and asymptotic freedom.
